Princess Tutu is an adorably cute series with a rather dark and deep storyline. Ahiru ("duck") is a clumsy young girl who is in love with her "prince" and somehow gets tangled up in a tragic love story. She gains the ability to transform into the graceful Princess Tutu whose task is to return the lost pieces of her Prince's heart to him yet she cannot confess her love to him or she will vanish forever...
This series is set at a dance school and the main characters are all in the ballet program. Lovely classical music and beautiful ballet moves fill this series, but the story and characters make it unforgettable!
